OneTheLegend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomplayer has built a flying machine that unleashes waves of destruction. With the game having released a couple of months ago, some players have dedicated their time to crafting all manners of contraptions, including unicycles, farming machines, and fireworks. Given the gigantic size of Hyrule, motorized vehicles are an absolute necessity for those who want to explore every corner of the map.
Compared toBreath of the Wild,Tears of the Kingdomboasts a deeper building system that paves the way for players to invent elaborate vehicles. They don’t limit themselves to ground exploration, crafting planes, helicopters, and even hot-air balloons to pass through the clouds above Hyrule’s land. AZelda: Tears of the Kingdomplayer, who goes by Ultrababouin on Reddit, posted a clip of them steering a flying mech they weaponized with two Zonai cannons. The vehicle bears a striking resemblance toArmored Coremechs and can fly backward without balance issues. The player had to use five Zonai fans to get this engineering marvel off the ground, and they attached two railings to the wooden wheel to generate propulsion. The legs and other parts of the vehicle help with counterweight issues and make it look like a bipedal machine.
It’s fair to say that the machine exemplifies how players can useTears of the Kingdom’s Ultrahandeffectively to construct any physics-bending vehicle. In the comments, manyZeldafans praised the original poster for the effort they put into the machine, with some jokingly saying that it looks like a reaper leviathan. Some also expressed their love for the wheel on its feet that allows for strafing. It’s likely more intricate vehicles are going to emerge on the game’s Reddit page in the upcoming days.
This armed mech is one of theZelda: Tears of the Kingdomcommunity inventionsthat allows players to dominate the landscape. Some players have already built mechs in the game, but the majority of them were unable to fly due to balance issues and didn’t provide any protection to their drivers. However, Ultrababouin’s mechanical device protects Link from nearby threats and vanquishes a legion of smaller enemies.
