How to Get the Frostbite Armor in Tears of the Kingdom
Frostbite Headress
TheFrostbite Headdressis inside the Lake Kilsie cave at the north end of the lake, and northwest of theRospro Pass Skyview Tower. Players can launch from the tower, or fast travel to theIjo-o Shrinein the West Hebra Sky Archipelago and skydive down, to get closer to the cave.
Players will have to quickly defeat a Horriblin once entering the cave. The cave room has a continual gust of wind coming the ground and an opening on the opposite. Instead, players should look to the right to finds another opening blocked by hanging icicles.
Use a Bomb Fruit fused with an arrow to clear the passage completely, then use the wind to rise up and glide over to it. The room will have a small hut with the treasure chest containing theFrostbite Headdress.
How to Get the Frostbite Shirt in Tears of the Kingdom
TheFrostbite Shirtis located in theBrightcap Cavesoutheast ofRito Villageand theLucky Clover Gazette. Players can also get closer by fast traveling to theOromuwak Shrine. Players should take the road from the Gazette leading to Tabantha Hills, and there will be a camp with two people outside a giant cave on the right of the road.
The two sisters will ask for 10 Brightcaps, and giving it to them will complete theCave Mushrooms That Growside quest and receive a Spicy Tomato Mushroom Stew. Going inside the cave, it is very straightforward with no alternative paths. Players will have to fight a Horriblin and a Like Like to get past.
The chest containing theFrostbite Shirtwill be a little hut surrounded by thorns at the end of the path. Players can either usea Fire Fruitto get rid of the thorns or simply climb on the walls over them.
How to Get the Frostbite Trousers in Tears of the Kingdom
TheFrostbite Trouserscan be found in theHebra Headspring Cavein theHebra Headspring, and is east of theRospro Pass Skyview Tower. The cave is at the north end of the river.
There are only two Ice Keese to take care of inside the cave. The challenge is getting to the other side of the room without touching freezing cold water that will damage Link. Players can climb and jump from spire to spire, or try to climb up the cliff on the left side of the room and glide over.
The opening to the treasure chest room is above the water, but players can make an ice platform withWhite Chuchu Jelly, Ice Fruit, or a makeshift Ice Wand. Players can quickly jump from the platform to the wall and quickly scale it to the opening before sliding back into the water. The treasure chest containing theFrostbite Trouserswill be in a little hut inside the opening.
