EachWoW Season of Discoveryphase brings a suite of revamped andcompletely new contentfor players to take on. In Phase One, we got the Battle for Ashenvale event, and in Phase Two the Blood Moon event in Stranglethorn Vale, both of which are still relevant for leveling the Warsong Gulch and Arathi Basin reputations.
Nightmare Incursions are the new Phase 3 world event in WoW SoD. But unlike the Ashenvale and Blood Moon events, Incursions are notintended to be PvP events. Instead, they offer entirely PvE-based quests that can be taken on solo or in a group, set in a revamped, instanced area beyond each of the Emerald Dream portals.

SoD Nightmare Incursions, Explained
To start an Incursion inWoW SoD, head to one of the four Emerald Dream Portals throughout Azeroth, and look for a Field Captain. If you havea mod like Questie installed, it should highlight their location on the map. Talk to them to get your first set of orders. Kill demons outside the portal and get the Intel required, then head back to the Field Captain to complete the Incursion intro.
You should get a Mission Briefing letter. The Briefing contains two BoP items: another letter that grants you a random Incursion quest, and a Deputization Authorization, which allows you to share that quest with your party members.

Completing these missions requires players to head through the portal into an alternate version of the surrounding area. These quests can include a variety of elite, enemy kill, profession-based, and collection objectives, themed around the SoD Incursion location.
How To Share Nightmare Incursion Quests
These quests work like therepeatable Silithus missionsthat were added towards the tail end ofWoW Classic, in that they are repeatable content, and can only be shared with your group with a Deputization item instead of the Quest Log. To share Incursion quests with party members inWoW SoD, perform the following steps in order;
After sharing an Incursion quest with a party member, all they have to do is accept the mission that pops up as they would a normal quest. If they already have the quest, nothing happens, and no charge is consumed. The same goes for the Letter you get from each Mission Briefing – if you already have the quest it grants, it can still be used later on.

All WoW SoD Incursions Locations
Duskwood, Ashenvale, Hinterlands, Feralas
There are four Nightmare Incursion locationsSoDplayers can find in Phase 3, and each one is tied to a different level range. In Duskwood, characters from level 25 to 40 can efficiently level and gain rep with the Emerald Wardens. Then from levels 40 to 50, Ashenvale is the best Incursion to level in.
Atmax level in Phase 3, players can head to either the Hinterlands or Feralas for better gold and rep gains compared to low-level Incursions. Keep in mind, though, that these max-level Incursion locations are much more challenging than Ashenvale and may require a full group, with at least a healer, to efficiently farm.

All Phase 3 Nightmare Incursion Rewards
Completing Incursion quests in any of the four locations rewards a significant amount of XP, Gold, and Reputation with the new Emerald Wardens faction. TheGold and XP rewardsmake it one of the most lucrative and efficient level-up methods in SoD, even after a series of nerfs.
But don’t ignore the new Emerald Wardens rep, as increasing your standing with them unlocks several powerful rewards –including pre-BiS gearfor a number of classes. Each Incursion area has its own Vendor for this rep located right next to the Mission Briefing quest giver. This list details every Emerald Wardens rep reward from Nightmare Incursions, and what reputation level you must reach to unlock each item for purchase.
