In the real world, most people can appreciate how hard bees work, but the same can be said for the ones inSkyrim, which have been witnessed going that extra mile for their hives. After more than 11 years,Elder Scrolls 5has left quite the legacy behindand while many fans are now ready to move on to the next installment, whenever that comes out, there’s still a lot of love to give to this 2011 epic RPG.
While the main focus is on quests, dragons, NPCs, and all the beautiful vistas and locales, the game offers so much more. For example,Skyrimhas collectible insects, which might not have any impact on the main story but are there for those who want a nice distraction from battling winged beasts and bandits. Most players will easily overlook these tiny details that make up this portion of Tamriel, but one person couldn’t help but notice a rather determined bee.

In a recent post over on Reddit, user xprozoomy uploaded a brief clip from theirSkyrimplaythrough. While not much is going on in the video, one thing that does stand out is a floating bucket by a well. Only it isn’t floating by itself. It quickly becomes apparent that it’s being carried by a bee, with xprozoomy saying that this buzzing insect is obviously “earning [its] Nordic respect.” The user then watches as the bee takes this wooden receptacle over to a nearby hive.
It’s only a brief clip, and it’s no doubt just an example of how the game’s physics engine can sometimes go a little haywire. However, it is interesting thatSkyrimfans are still discovering new things, even if they’ve been playing for years. No doubt there will be many who have seen something similar, but there will be a few others who have yet to experience these little unexpected moments that can make a person stop and either marvel at things or scratch their head in bewilderment.
It really goes to show that there are someweird things that can be experienced inSkyrim. Some of it may be an intentional part of the story or world, while others are down to some broken parts of the game’s code. In any case, these moments make for interesting talking points, and it could be one of the reasons whySkyrimis still one of the biggest games around, even after all these years.
