Team GO Rocket is back in full force this month andPokemon GOtrainers need to assemble their best rosters in order to defeat all of the grunts and bosses in their way. The current ongoing event will task players with confronting Team GO Rocket, butbattling Sierraand the rest of the enemy faction will likely remain a popularity activity throughout all of April anyway.
As trainerscomplete April 2022 events, they’ll likely find themselves locked in battle with Arlo at some point.Pokemon GOtrainers will want to make sure they’ve done all of their homework to study the boss' latest roster changes and strategies before that battle arrives. Arlo has a pretty interesting lineup this month, so trainers may need to make some updates to their saved rosters in order to best prepare for Beldum and everything else Arlo has in store for them…

Arlo is changing it up once again and this time there’s an expected Alola flare to his lineup. Players are first going to get a chance to have a guaranteedbattle with Exeggute(that should be an easy one to power through) before they have to deal with some surprises and strategize on the fly. Like with all of these Rocket leader battles, trainers are going to need to get creative and prepare some versatile rosters since there are so many Pokemon who can possibly appear in the second and third slots of Arlo’s lineup.

Players will want to remember that there are a lot of different configurations they can use and there isn’t one perfect lineup to take onany Team GO Rocket leader. The most important thing is to focus on the crossover counters and attempt to field a roster of Pokemon that isn’t weak to any of the possible matchups. That is very difficult on the first attempt, but trainers can aim to use a first try to gain some valuable intel and then head right back into the fight for a second attempt with more optimized counters in place.
