The Electric-type creature evolves to Electabuzz at level 30, which in turn can become an Electivire if an item called Electrizer is used on it. Due to its cute appearance, the baby Pokemon remains iconic even now.

Now, an artist called Endifi has just shared a human version of Elekid. The new design maintains the same style as the original creature, keeping elements such as color patterns like the thunder-shaped symbol in front of it or the black stripes in the arms, but also makes some bold changes. For instance, Elekid’s round body is turned into a dress, and thePokemon’s iconic power plug-inspired head becomes the tip of the human girl’s hair. Overall, the creation was pretty well received on Reddit, with people commenting on how the smug smile on the Human Elekid face gave it an interesting aura.
Endifi creates adorable human versions of Pokemon quite often. In the last few months, the artist has designed fan art of creatures including Porygon 2, Tyrogue, Smeargle, Smoochum, and others. In fact, the new Elekid fan art was originally envisioned while the artist was on a trip to Hawaii, which also inspired them to create human versions of other baby Pokemon like Smoochum. This can be easily seen in theart of the human Smoochum, as it’s greatly inspired by Hawaiian hula dancers, and it looks as charming as Elekid, but less smug and more cheerful and innocent.
However, not all kinds ofPokemonfan art could be considered “cute.” Often, artists are going for something else entirely, which was the case of afusion of Ditto and Steelixmade by Rc1246 and shared online a couple of weeks ago. This fake Pokemon looked absolutely terrifying, as it maintained Steelix’s colossal size and menacing pose, but was covered in a thick pink ooze and had a scary grim. With nine generations of games and over 1,000 Pokemon so far, artists will take a long time before they run out of ideas forPokemonfan art, be they adorable or horrifying.
