Monad Passages are a common occurrence on the upper floors of Tartarus inPersona 3 Reload. Behind these glowing red doors is a slew of bosses, with some of them exclusively being found within these areas. You’ll want to prepare for battle, as the enemies will certainly be some of the hardest you come across.
In the Yabbashah Block, you’ll find yourself face to face with the Elegant Mother. This boss will attempt to take your team out with poison, slowly chipping away at your health. However, if you use its weaknesses against it, you should have no problem winning the fight.
Where to Find Elegant Mother in Persona 3 Reload
Elegant Mother is a powerful boss found within Monad Passages, the large, glowing red doors you’ll spot throughout theupper levels of Tartarus. In particular, we found the Elegant Mother boss onFloor 85 in the Yabbashah Block.However, this boss and Monad Passage are random, so they could appear on a different floor for you, but it will always be within the first section of the Yabbashah Block.
This boss will be found alone, so you can focus all of your attacks on them without having to worry about other enemies. Keep in mind, however, that this boss can use a few abilities that will target all of your party members at once.
Elegant Mother Weakness in Persona 3 Reload
Once you’ve found the Elegant Mother boss, these are the weaknesses and resistances it has that you’ll want to pay attention to:
With this information in mind, you’ll want to focus solely on using Fire skills, and avoid any Wind or Dark skills. The best character to bring alongside the main character isthe cute dogKoromaru, if you have access to him. He will join your team on 7/29. Koromaru comes automatically with some Fire attacks, including Maragion, which will deal Medium Fire damage to his opponent.
Along with Koromaru, you can utilize some Fire skills that the main character’s Personas have. For example,Oberon or Jack-o'-Lanternare a few early-game Personas that have Fire skills available to them, such as Agi or Maragi.
For additional party members, it’s a good idea to bring alongYukari and Mitsuru.Yukari will be especially important since she can heal the team. Mitsuru can provide additional damage support with her Ice skills, and can also apply status ailments to enemies such as Distress or Charm. Another thing you’ll want to bring along isa few consumables to counteract Poison, likeDis-Poison.Elegant Mother will poison almost all of your party members at the beginning, so you’ll want to bring this item along to cure your party members.
