Summary

The Fourth Hokage of Konoha, Minato is one of the most important characters in the entire series. His legacy is what started theNarutoseries and, even years after his death, he was an extremely important ninja who moved the story forward in many ways.

Minato was quite a genius ninja himself and, as far as prodigies go, he was up there with the very best. It is not a surprise to know that Minato invented several powerful jutsu on his own. Given that he was considered to be a generational talent, he had already invented quite a lot of techniques on his own, even though he died far from his prime inNaruto.

5Flying Thunder God – Stage 2

Fans know that the Flying Thunder God Jutsu wasone of Minato’s go-to techniques. This technique was not developed by him. It was developed by the Second Hokage of Konoha, Tobirama. However, Minato certainly did improve upon its usage. He created a version of this technique that far surpassed the one that Tobirama used. In fact, Minato became the fastest ninja of his generation using this jutsu.

He also developed new techniques surrounding the Flying Thunder God, such as the Stage 2 which he utilized against Obito using a kunai as a teleportation point and hitting the enemy from a point-blank range. This technique was incredibly unique and something that helped Minato secure major victories throughout his life.

4Flying Thunder God – Guiding Thunder

Minato was known as the fastest ninja of all timeduring his era. Much of that was down to his mastery of the Flying Thunder God technique. Although Tobirama was also a good user of it, Minato took it to new levels. He could also combine it with barrier techniques and teleport things other than himself.

This was seen when Kurama attacked and fired a Tailed Beast Ball directly at the Hokage faces. Minato was able to use a technique called Guiding Thunder to completely teleport this tailed beast ball by creating a rift in space-time. This tailed beast ball was then delivered to a different location in the woods behind the Hokage faces. Being able to pull off such complex techniques just goes to show how much of a genius Minato truly was. Undoubtedly, fans will never see his like again.

3Revolving Flying Thunder God

Revolving Flying Thunder God is yet another techniquethat Minato utilized in the Fourth Great Ninja War.However, this time around, Tobirama also knew how to use this technique. Nonetheless, since Minato was the one who suggested it, this technique primarily belongs to him. This technique requires the usage of two users of the same technique. Essentially, they mark each other with their seals and, when one of them is attacked, they swap places with the other one and then take the opponent by surprise.

This is a very useful technique that Obito struggled to deal with quite a lot, at least initially. This technique is quite smart and, once again, an indication of the fact that Minato was way too smart of a ninja who could come up with new techniques on the go.

Dance Howl Devastation - Rasen-Flash Super-Circle Dance Howl by Minato Namikaze

2Rasen-Flash Super-Circle Dance Howl Stage Three

This technique might just be the strongest one ofall of the Jutsu that Minato inventedduring his life as a ninja. Sadly, fans have never gotten a proper look at it. However, this was the technique that he used to wipe out an entire platoon of ninjas during the Third Great Ninja War. The fact that it could do that just goes to show that this is an incredibly overpowered technique that he developed.

To use this technique, Minato throws six thunder god kunai and marks the entire battlefield with them. After that, he likely teleports to different kunai and one-shots his enemies while moving incredibly fast. As mentioned before, fans never got to see how it exactly works out. All they could see was massive lightning flashes emerge on the battlefield and, at the end of it all, Minato was the last person standing with the entire battalion being defeated. Fans can only hope that this jutsu, invented by Minato, makes its way in the future of the series at some point.

1Rasengan

By all means, the most iconic jutsu thatMinato invented was the Rasengan. This technique was studied by Minato during the Third Great Ninja War. After studying the Tailed Beast Ball, Minato wanted to recreate it. Essentially, this jutsu was supposed to be a gift to Kushina for him to defend herself against powerful Jinchuriki when she fought against them. It took him 3 years to master this technique fully and it was quite a technique indeed.

This jutsu came to be known as the legacy of the Fourth Hokage and it was strong enough to become his go-to technique. He ended quite a lot of fights in one go when using this in conjunction with his Flying Thunder God technique. This technique also ended up being passed down the Konoha shinobi line. Jiraiya was the one who learned it from him and from there onwards, it was passed on to Naruto, who taught it to Konohamaru, who then passed it on to Boruto.
