The Loki/Sylvie romance has been a topic of passionate discourse among fans since the airing of the bittersweet season finale, whichmay have changed Sylvie’s role, but even the show’s creators can’t seem to agree. Di Martino, who plays Sylvie, spoke withGamesRadarabout her take on what fans have dubbed the Loki and Sylvie ‘situationship.’ Although Di Martino says she found the poignant full-circle ending moving, she wasn’t keen on a season 2 romance between the pair. “It’s weird, isn’t it, because they’re variants of the same person? I think I just ship Sylvie and want her to be okay,” Di Martino said, suggesting her aversion to any love affair. Di Martino cited the complexity of the relationship and the long history between the two characters as another reason for her controversial opinion. However, she added that she does get a kick out of the fan theories and artwork.
