Seirin High’s first-year point guard, Kōki Furihata, is nearly as smallas Tetsuya Kuroko. He is quiet and often nervous, but even these seemingly negative traits contribute to his skill as a point guard. They allow him to be more observant and adequately cautious, allowing him to make good decisions on the basketball court.

Although his skills are generally average, from technique and stamina to special ability, he is noted to be a good asset to his team, supporting his teammates in the expression of their skills.

Shūtoku High’s first-year point guard, Kazunari Takao, plays basketball for his own pleasure and enjoyment as opposed to the thrill and advancement of competition. He is known to possess the ‘Hawk Eye’ skill, which gives him armor against skills likeTetsuya Kuroko’s ‘Misdirection’.

Shoichi Imayoshi, the captain and point guard of Tōō Academy’s basketball team, owes his notable value as a point guard to his great leadership skills. He hasa natural intelligenceand cockiness that affect how he performs during games.

Imayoshi is fast, unpredictable, and great at figuring out his opponents' moves before they make them. He is known for the buzzer beaters he can score from the three-point line and behind. Although his character is questionable, as noted by other players on the show, his skill isn’t.

4Makoto Hanamiya

A member ofthe Uncrowned Kings, Makoto Hanamiya is also called “The Bad Boy” because he doesn’t shy away from foul play. He has a high IQ which he uses in his games, and good leadership as long as his teammates are willing to play along with his foul strategies.

His notable skill is called the ‘Spider’s Web,’ and it allows him to observe his opponents moves and draw out patterns he can then intercept. He is usually correct with his patterns, and this means he can usually steal the ball with ease, a skill that makes him an excellent point guard.

Kaijō High’s captain and point guard Yukio Kasamatsu is known for his incredibly fast drive and three-point scores. Shun Izuki even described him as the fastest player second only to Generation of Miracles players.

Kasamatsu is equipped with top-notch stamina and mental strength and possesses above-average technique and physical ability. Nash Gold Jr. plays point guard on Team Jabberwock. Players call him the ‘Magician’ because he plays in an unpredictable way. Gold’s dribbling skills are basically unbeatable as he uses extreme speed and deception to misdirect opponents.

His trump card ability, called the ‘Demon Eye,’ is comparable to the ‘Emperor Eye’ used by Seijūrō Akashi. Seijūrō Akashi is surprisingly small for the skill he possesses. He is excellent across the board, from his intelligence to his special ability, stamina, and technique. He is great at controlling the ball and passing with speed and accuracy. Akashi is alsoa master tactician.

With skills like the Emperor Eye, Zone, and Perfect-Rhythmed Plays, Akashi plays the point guard position to perfection. Kazunari Takao even mentions this during Rakuzan High’s match against Shūtoku High. As a bonus, Akashi also scores three-pointers and can dribble at high speed.
