By January 2019,Kingdom Hearts 3will be released and will serve as the latest entry in the long-standing franchise byFinal Fantasydeveloper, Square Enix. Now, players can get a peek at the highly-anticipated game asKingdom Hearts 3will be playable at the X018 event in Mexico City on November 10th.
Given that Square Enix has not announced early access for the game, it is exciting to know that players around Mexico City will be able to experience a hands-on demo ofKingdom Hearts 3. The latest entry in theKingdom Heartsfranchise was initially announced a few years ago and wasfully revealed at E3 2018.
The game will see the continuation of the adventure of series protagonist, Sora, together with Donald Duck and Goofy as they embark on several quests while exploring the magical worlds of Disney and Pixar. Square Enix has previously confirmed the presence of several worlds, which will includeFrozen,Tangled,Big Hero 6,Toy Story,Monsters Inc., and several others.
Just last week the latest issue of V-Jump Magazine in Japanleaked some extra informationconcerning theHerculesworld inKingdom Hearts 3. Although this world has made appearances in previousKingdom Heartsgames and was even one of the first to be confirmed inKingdom Hearts 3,the magazine reported that players will be able to embark on an adventure in the city of Thebes and climb the iconic Mount Olympus, where several gods and goddesses reside.
Now, regarding the platformsKingdom Hearts 3will be released to, Square Enix has previously confirmed that the game will be launched on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Although no confirmation has been made by the developer, a YouTuber claimed that a source close to Square Enix revealed that the studiomay releaseKingdom Hearts 3on the Nintendo Switch. Of course, this piece of information must be taken with a grain of salt, but reports claim that Square Enix is “deeply interested” in the prospect, and is trying to figure out whether releasing the game to the Switch would be worth the time.
Kingdom Hearts 3will release on PS4 and Xbox One on August 01, 2025.
