Twilight Town, originally introduced as a tutorial world inKingdom Hearts 2, is a bit more fleshed out inKingdom Hearts 3. It’s home to the Ratatouille restaurant, its own set of Lucky Emblems, and more, so players will want to visit it on a regular basis.
The mailbox players need to use to send out postcards is located right in the center of Twilight Town’s square, right next to the Moogle Shop and save point. For this reason, the mailbox is pretty hard to miss, and so players should have no trouble sending out postcards once they’ve figured out how to obtain them.
Mailing out postcards is a good way to get a wide variety of items inKingdom Hearts 3, but it’s actually very important for anyone who hopes to craft the Ultima Weapon. To craft the Ultima Weapon inKingdom Hearts 3, players need to collectseven pieces of Orichalcum+, which is one of the rarest materials in the game. One way to get a piece of Orichalcum+ is by mailing out postcards, as it will randomly be doled out as a reward.
Since getting Orichalcum+ from postcards appears to be random, we recommend players make an extra save slot before they start sending out any letters. This way they can just reload their save if none of the postcards they send out result in the Orichalcum+, and this will also save them plenty of munny as well.
Of course, before players even need to worry about crafting the Ultima Weapon, they will want to get through the majority of Sora’s adventure first. Considering this, it may be easiest forKingdom Hearts 3players to drop by Twilight Town on their way to new worlds, and hope they get some Orichalcum+ back for one of the postcards they send out during their journey.
