Summary

AGenshin Impactplayer shares an interesting video on how to use the Hydro user Yelan and the Anemo character Lynette to move swiftly through the overworld. Sprinting is a fairly simple mechanic in the game that allows characters to use their Stamina Points in order to move at a rapid pace.

Once their stamina bar depletes,Genshin Impactplayers need to wait for it to recharge before using it again. While this mechanic is similar for the majority of characters, some playable units have unique features built into their kit that allow them to not rely on their usual stamina.

A Reddit user by the name of Mukimpo_baka has shared an interesting video that shows how players can combinethe Hydro user Yelanand the recently added Lynette for a unique overworld experience. The Elemental Skill effects of both characters provide them with a movement speed buff that allows them to sprint without using their regular stamina. Yelan’s Lingering Lifeline makes her enter a special state that allows her to move rapidly and mark enemies along her path. Once her run ends, Yelan will cause an AoE Hydro explosion that deals damage to all market targets based on the bow user’s max. HP. During this state, Yelan’s resistance to interruption will also get significantly increased which assures that her run does not get cut short by enemy attacks.

Holding Lynette’s Elemental Skill, Enigmatic Feint, will cause the character to enter a high-speed state called Pilfering Shadow that also marks nearby enemies. Just like with Yelan’s skill, players can control Lynette’s movement during this state and cut it short by pressing activating the skill again.

Overall, fans seem to like this interaction as the post managed to get over 1.2k upvotes on the game’s main subreddit with many comments suggesting that players can also add the Anemo claymore user Sayu to the mix to make traveling even more interesting. Players who want to add Yelan or Lynette to their roster will have to wait for a couple of months since they were both featured on theprevious Limited Character Banneralongside Lynette’s brother Lyney and two additional four-star units.

However, players will still probably have to interact withLynette in Fontaine’s main storylinein which she played an important role so far. When it comes to her power on the field, this 4-star Anemo sword user is best used in the support role as she can debuff enemies' resistances and increase her team’s damage potential.

Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
