Nilou brings a refreshingly new gameplay toGenshin Impact, to say the least. Rather than concentrating on directly dealing damage to enemies, Nilou’s play style instead focuses on the creation of Dendro Cores via theBloom Elemental Reaction inGenshin Impact.
Nilou’s entire kit is made to enhance the damage of the Bloom Reactions for both herself and her team. She makes it easy to rapidly deal between 15k to 30k Dendro DMG with little effort. As if all that isn’t good enough, the Hydro dancer can even enhance those damage to an even higher number, as long as players unlock Nilou’s Constellations inGenshin Impact.

Are Nilou’s Constellations Worth It In Genshin Impact?
Nilou is already great even at C0, but if players enjoy her playstyle enough to desire her Constellation, thenthey can find her best upgrades on her first, second, and sixth Constellations.
C1 - Dance of the Waning Moon
The second C1 effect can actually be obtained by using the SacrificialSword inGenshin Impact. But, for players using her best-in-slot weapon, then Nilou’s C1 is highly important. For the main DPS style, Nilou gains higher damage on every third hit, while for the support style, Nilou can now maintain 100% uptime on her Hydro application.
C2 - The Starry Skies Their Flowers Rain
Meanwhile, Nilou’s secondConstellation inGenshin Impactis the most important part of her enhancements. Players will deal both a higher Hydro and Dendro damage, which means better Bloom damage as well.
C4 - Fricative Pulse
Nilou’s fourth Constellation is basically only a boost to herElemental Burst inGenshin Impact. It’s not very important since it’s a simple personal-DPS increase.
C6 - Frostbreaker’s Melody
Nilou’s sixth Constellation inGenshin Impactis also an increase in personal DPS, but the effect is both great and easy to achieve. Players can easily gain over 65,000 HP with Nilou, while this upgrade only requires 50,000 HP to maximize. Considering all the damage buff Nilou gains from her previous Constellations, this effect is the final thing she needs to become a more viable damage dealer.
Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
