A newGenshin Impactleak is revealing the lineup of enemies set to be featured in the Spiral Abyss during the RPG’s Version 4.2 update. Since the launch of the HoYoverse RPG in September 2020, Spiral Abyss has been one of the game’s primary forms of endgame content with players able to challenge powerful versions of the game’s enemies. The game mode typically features a rotation of new enemies with each update,providing new teambuilding challengesfor players to tackle. Now, the lineup for the next update to the game mode is being teased.
Each rotation ofGenshin Impact’s Spiral Abyss challenges typically places a spotlight on the newest enemies added to the game. Version 4.1’s rotation features both of the game’s newest bosses in the Millennial Pearl Seahorse and Experimental Field Generator on Floor 12. The Spiral Abyss update also features unique new buffs for players to take advantage of, focusing around HP manipulation and made to benefit the game’s newest characters, Neuvillette and Wriothesley. Now, leaks are already hinting at Version 4.2’s Floor 12 enemies.

A recent leak from prominentGenshin Impactleaker Bebe has revealed the array of enemies players will battle inVersion 4.2’s Spiral Abyss. Floor 12-1 of the newest Spiral Abyss update will pit players against a variety of elemental enemies including Rifthounds and Abyss Mages in the first half and Sumeru’s Matrix boss in the second half. Floor 12-2 features several of Fontaine’s new Meka enemies during the first half while the second half pits players against Sumeru’s Jadeplume Terrorshroom. Floor 12 will wrap up with theEmperor of Fire and Iron world bossin the first half of Chamber 3 and the Nemesis of Coppelia in the second half.
The newest addition toGenshin Impact’s endgame content notably does not feature any new enemies set to premiere during Version 4.2. The RPG’s next update is expected to add a pair of new bosses to the game, introducing botha new world boss toGenshin Impactand Fontaine’s first weekly boss. Leaks have also suggested thatGenshin Impact’s newest expansion to Fontaine will bring more overworld enemies to the region as well.Genshin Impact’s Version 4.2 update is expected to launch on November 8th.
The newest rotation to the Spiral Abyss will likely look to benefit the two new characters coming inGenshin Impact’s Version 4.2. Furina was officially revealed earlier this week as a new five-star unit coming in Version 4.2, leaked to utilize mechanics based around manipulating both her own and her allies' HP.Charlotte has also been teasedas a healer withinGenshin Impact, using her camera to both attack enemies and heal allies. Version 4.2’s Spiral Abyss update will bring brand-new challenges forGenshin Impact’s most skilled players.
