Melusines can be seen all overGenshin ImpactFontaine, which makes a large part of the Fontainian community. The first Melusine people meet would likely bethe guide on the Romaritime Harbor Aquabus, Aeval. However, one thing she didn’t forget to tell would be the existence of Elynas, the place where she and other Melusines came from.
However, upon arriving at the Beryl Region island, players won’t be finding any Melusine village anywhere. This is because the township is located underwater, in the remains of Elynas’ body. Players will get a direction to go there when they start the Ancient Colors quest, but they can visit the Merusea Village even without following any mission.

Upon the first arrival in the village,Genshin Impactplayers will be treated with two Hydroculus markings on their map. While one of the Hydroculus is floating in plain sight, the other is located in a not-so-obvious spot. As people search for this Hydroculus, many may notice a water hole with a rock that can be interacted with. ThisMerusea Village rockcan be destroyed, but players must go through a certain quest to do it. After accessing the other side of the blockage, Travelers can also get the hiddenMerusea Village Hydroculus.
How To Destroy The Underwater Rock In Merusea Village
To destroy the rock in the Merusea Village water hole, players mustfollow the Ancient Colors: Act II quest until the blockage is removed by the NPC in the story. The stone will be destroyed from the other side, so Travelers need to gain access to the lowest layer of Elynas first.
To unlock the lowest layer of Elynas,players must collect Strange Parts inGenshin Impactto help Mamere fix Seymour. After fixing the robot, an earthquake will occur, which removes the rock that was previously blocking the way to the lowest layer.
Then, to destroy the underwater rock in Merusea Village, follow through the quest until players arrive in the underwater Merusea Village. The place itself can be visited without players journeying with Mamere and Seymour, but the rock can only be removed with the robot’s help.
Afterarriving in the Merusea Village, Seymour will say that there’s a shortcut to return to the surface, and the robot will use its power to remove the blockage. From then on, players can use the Merusea Village water hole to transport between the underground and underwater sections of the place.
Merusea Village Hydroculus Location In Genshin Impact
The first Merusea Village Hydroculus can be easily found near Mamere’s house.
Meanwhile,the Hydroculusthat players likely struggle to findis located in the underwater Merusea Village, in front of one of the homes. Those who haven’t started Mamere’s AncientColors quest inGenshin Impactwon’t be able to access it, so make sure to trigger the quest and help the Melusine by going to the World Quest marker north of the Beryl Region Statue of the Seven.
