AGenshin Impactchart shows the difference in sales between the two currently available five-star characters, Kaedehara Kazuha and Alhaitham. Both of them are part of the ongoing double banner that arrive during the second banner cycle of the ongoing update 3.7.
EachGenshin Impactupdate is divided into two separate parts that feature different limited characters and weapons. Limited Character banners usually last around 3–4 weeks and once they expired, it’s time for a new set of characters to take their place. Besides the two five-star units, this banner phase also includes a decent four-star lineup that consists of Xiangling, Yaoyao, and Shikanoin Heizou.

A popularGenshin Impactrevenue website named Paimon.moe has revealed the difference in sales between the two currently obtainable five-star characters, Alhaitham and Kazuha. According to the chart, Kazuha is responsible for over 71% of the total sales which does not come as a surprise considering that he is widely considered thebest Anemo support inGenshin Impact. His greatest strength is probably his ability to adapt to almost any team composition in the game since his Anemo element cannot interfere with other elemental reactions. Kazuha also has the ability to apply crowd-control to a group of enemies and shred their resistances while providing a massive damage buff to his whole party.
Kazuha is also free-to-play friendly as players don’t need to equip him with the strongest weapons and artifacts to make him viable. When it comes tobuilding this five-star Anemo user, players need to equip him with the Viridescent Venerer set that buffs his elemental damage and increases the potential of his Swirl effects.
While Kazuha can use almost any sword in the game, players who want to get his sub-DPS and supportive abilities to the next level should try to equip him with the Freedom Sword. Travelers that want to invest their Primogems in his constellation levels should try toget Kazuha to the C2 levelwhich will grant a huge Elemental Mastery buff to the whole team.
Another reason why players preferred pulling for Kazuha over Alhaitham could be the fact that the five-star Dendro user was featured a couple of months ago duringGenshin Impactupdate 3.4. Even though at the time of his release, Alhaitham was considered just to be a Dendro version of Keqing, he has proven to be one of, if not the best Dendro DPS character inGenshin Impact.
Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
