Eligible players have a chance to win $1,000,000 by participating in MrBeast’s Extreme Survival Challenge on December 1 inFortnite. This is part of an upcoming collaboration between Epic Games and thefamous YouTube celebrity MrBeast.
Epic Games releasedFortnitein 2017, and the free-to-play battle royale played a major role in the franchise’s popularity. It continues to be the twelfth most-played video game of all time and the second most-played battle royale behindPUBG: Battlegrounds. Meanwhile, MrBeast is a popular YouTube personality known for his elaborate competition with massive cash prizes. Therefore, it’s not surprising thatFortnitewould partner with MrBeast for its huge $1,000,000 competition.

MrBeast’s Extreme Survival Challenge takes place on a new Island of the same name, which goes live at 9 AM on December 13. Players have several days to familiarize themselves withFortnite’s new custom Islandbefore the Challenge begins at 12 PM Pacific on December 17. Players can find the Island by searching the Discover menu or entering the island code 7990-6907-8565.
The Challenge begins at 12 PM Pacific and runs until 3 PM. Players will find it in the Discover menu in the “Fortnite Competitive” category.Fortniteplayers will earn points toward their score by completing challenges, avoiding hazards, and collecting coins. Whoever has the highest score when the contest ends will win the $1,000,000 prize. In addition, the top 100,000 players will also get a runner-up prize in the form of an exclusive in-game item, the golden Beast Brella Umbrella. Players can participate in MrBeast’s Extreme Survival Challenge as often as they want, with their highest-scoring match determining their final ranking.
Note that allFortniteplayers must enable two-factor authentication for their scores to count. Participants also need to have a verified Epic account and an Account Level of 15 or higher. Players can read the official rules on Epic Games website.Fortniteplayers in Russiaand Turkey are not eligible for the cash prize.
In addition to the Extreme Survival Challenge,Fortniteplayerscan participate in MrBeast’s Extreme Survival Quests starting at 9 AM on December 13. The two quests can be found on the Challenge island and require players to earn a sufficiently high score. Completing their first Quest awards players the exclusive MrBeast Gaming Spray, with the second granting players the MrBeast Survival Games Loading Screen.
In addition to prizes,Fortniteplayers can buy a line of MrBeast in-game cosmetics fromFortnite’s item shop. This includes the MrBeast Outfit, MrBeast6000 Outfit, MrBeast Smasher Pickaxe, Beast Backdrop Wrap, Prize Package Back Bling, Beast Claw Pickaxe, and Wrapped and Revved Glider.Fortniteis also introducing the new Beast Blastin’ Emote for players who want to celebrate Eliminations with a shower of cash.
