As players enter the last week ofFortnite’s Chapter 4 Season 1, they’re happy to get as many quests as possible to max out the Battle Pass. On March 8, a new season will be live and everything from the past season will no longer be accessible.

Oathbound quests are also coming to an end, and it’s time to make contact with Rift Warden Stellan to get theRift Gatecoordinates to try to open it. This guide will explain howFortnitefans can get through these last few quests and complete this season’s main storyline.
Oathbound Quests
Not only are these quests interesting as gamers get to keep up with the game’s lore, but they alsogrant 20,000 XP per completed stage. This is huge considering these are the last days of the season, and everyone is trying to get as many Battle Stars as they can in order to unlock as many Battle Pass rewards as possible.
Players will have to complete two five-stage parts to open the Rift Gate at last and receive theIsland Iconsloading screen. Completing Oathbound quests is also crucial to following and understandingFortnite’s storyline and the live eventsthat happen between seasons.
First, the player will have to make contact with Rift Warden Stellan, and they can do this at any of the three Bastion outposts surrounding Cold Cavern. Using the Bastion outposts' jump pads is a great way to move around when doing these quests - they will have gamers going back and forth quite often.
Players will then have to head down to Cold Cavern where they will find Tilted Tower’s clock building and use the laptop to receive the Rift Gate’s coordinates. After this, they’ll have to put in the coordinates at theGate’s Control Terminal in Lonely Labs. After doing so, they will once again need to make contact with Rift Warden Stellan, and then have to return to the Rift Gate Control Terminal to attempt to open the Rift Gate.It is stated that it might be unstable, and if so, the consequences might be dangerously catastrophic.
To open the Rift Gate, the player has to go back to Lonely Labs and interact with the Terminal by pressing and holding the “Open the Rift Gate” button. A lantern similar to those in Lucky Landing from the firstFortnitemap will pop out of the gate. The Warden notes that the Gate won’t stabilize, and they cannot shut it off; it appears to have been sabotaged, and it could open up the entire sky - what’s on the other side is unknown.
In the last stage of the mission,gamers will have to talk to two NPCs, either Evie, Scrapknight Jules, Snowheart, or Princess Felicity Fish.
This is ashocking ending to Chapter 4 Season 1’s storyline, and the lantern could be an indicator that a map change could be happening in the near future. On March 8 more will certainly be uncovered.
