Summary
A lot of speculation has been surroundingFortniteChapter 4 Season 4’s theme lately, and Epic Games has finally decided to share some information to ease fans' minds. WhenFortniteChapter 4 Season 3 dropped in early June, gamers were excited, but they knew what to expect from it. Tons of leaks had been revealed in the weeks leading up to the season renewal update, so gamers were aware that once Season 3 started, they would be able to explore a jungle, ride raptors, and camouflage themselves in the mud.
As time went by, gamers noticed that Chapter 4 Season 3’s end was growing closer and closer, yet they still didn’t know what they would be dealing with in Season 4. There have been almost no leaks for the upcoming season, and the most reliable information came from changes that The Apparatus landmark suffered following the last season update. A machine appeared at The Apparatus andshot a pink beam intoFortnite’s sky, and fans soon found out that Doctor Slone was responsible for this, as she wanted to analyze the stars for guidance.

Doctor Slone found evidence that a blood moon eclipse was imminent, and this led many players to believe thatFortniteChapter 4 Season 4 could be darker, especially considering that Halloween and the Fortnitemares event will take place while it’s still live. On August 20, the officialFortniteTwitter account finally gave fans some new information on the upcoming season, and it seems that it will focus mostly on heists. However, according to the shared image, the eclipse might still play an important role, as it appears in the top right corner.
Gamers were quick to analyze the image and find every single detail worth noting. What stood out the most was the Drum Gun locked away in a vault. It seems that there are three small stalls inside the vault, and if the Drum Gun is in one of the stalls, there could be other rare weapons in the other ones as well. These weapons must be rare if they’re locked away, so they could be Mythic weapons. There’s a chance that it could be related toMidas’s Mythic Drum Gun fromFortniteChapter 2 Season 2, the Top Secret season, also heist themed.
Even though some fans thought that this theme came out of nowhere, many were already expecting it. A few days beforeFortniteposted the heist image, the official Twitter account was revamped. Instead of the green vine theme, theFortniteTwitter logo and header were surrounded by red lasers. Over the next few days, more teasers will certainly be released, and soon enough, gamers will know all about Chapter 4 Season 4.
