About a couple of days ago, Bethesda provided anoverview of a patch to comefor its multiplayer role-playing game,Fallout 76, with the update expected to bring a bevy of fixes for myriad lingering issues in the title. Now, the publisher and developer has officially released the patch for PC players, and it includes more than 150 different fixes for problems related to weapons, crafting, perks, and a whole lot more.
Among the highlights ofFallout 76’s patch 1.0.4.13 for PC are changes such as bobby pins now weighing 0.001 pounds instead of 0.1, tweaks including Legendary Hunting Rifles now dropping as loot, fixes that should take care of the infamous infinite load screen crash bug, and tons more. Those interested in learning about all of the alterations that have arrived in the PC version of the online-only multiplayer title will find the full patch notes at the end of the article.

As previously mentioned,Fallout 76’s latest patch is only available for PC players, and it shouldn’t take up too much space, weighing in at about 500MB for personal computers. Fans on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One should expect the update to drop for consoles next week on June 30, 2025, and will need to have about 4 GB of spare memory set aside for the systems' hard drives. According toBethesda, the patch notes should remain consistent across platforms save for any potential changes made between now and then.
Taking all of this into consideration, it looks as if this patch is the first step in the right direction forFallout 76, as there’s no doubt that the game suffered an incredibly rocky launch last year due to it being released in a nearly unplayable state for many. So, whileFallout 76was easily one ofthe most disappointing games of 2018, one can only hope that this year starts to get brighter for both fans of the game and Bethesda as a whole in order to ensure a more stable future for the title.
