Every video game’s score plays a role in making a good game great, and the long-runningFinal Fantasyseries is no exception. The scores, which were nearly all composed byNobuo Uematsu, are now available for players to enjoy even when they’re outside the game, as every main series soundtrack has now been added to Spotify.

To be clear, main entries to theFinal Fantasyseries now have their soundtracks available on Spotify’s music streaming service. This means that fans of anyFinal Fantasygame from the very first for the NES all the way throughFinal Fantasy 15can enjoy their favorite soundtracks, just likeFinal Fantasy 15’s protagonists listened toclassicFinal Fantasysongs on the car radio. The MMORPG entriesFinal Fantasy 11andFinal Fantasy 14also see their soundtracks added to the service.

However, there are still some outliers that didn’t make the cut. Notably,Final Fantasy TacticsAdvanceandFinal Fantasy X-2’s soundtracks are absent, although the originalFinal Fantasy TacticsandFinal Fantasy 10soundtracks made the list. However, Spotify is also making multiple live concert versions ofFinal Fantasysoundtracks available, including the Distant Worlds collections, so there should be plenty for players to enjoy.

Surprisingly, no official announcement has been released regarding the addition of some of thebest video game soundtracks everby Square Enix. However, the developer and publisher is likely busy at this time gearing up for E3 2019. Although Spotify isn’t exactly known for showering its artists in profits, enough gamers streaming the soundtrack could potentially give Square Enix a modest boost financially as well.

The developer has enough faith in its upcoming projects that it expects to see a major increase in profits for the company soon, and Spotify’s list ofFinal Fantasysoundtracks could play a small role in this. Of course, Square Enix’s major upcoming hits likeFinal Fantasy 7 Remakeare where the majority of its profits will come from. It remains to be seen ifFinal Fantasy 7 Remake’ssoundtrackwill be added to the service, and if so, whether or not there will be a delay between the physical CD releases and MP3 sales and their appearance on Spotify.

Final Fantasy’s series soundtracks are now available for streaming on Spotify.
