Diablo 4players would like to have better options for white hair. Fans have the opportunity to experienceDiablo 4during its ongoing open beta weekend. Some participants think the game is lacking with good hair color options.
For the most part,Diablo 4had a positive welcome so far. Most players are very happy with the graphics and describe it as a huge step up fromDiablo 3.Asmongold even gaveDiablo 4a mostly positivereview. The long queues have been brought up as a negative, as well as the fact that players won’t be able to keep their characters once they switch over to the full game. Alongside these criticisms, a group of players have brought up the lacking hair color options, at least as it pertains to white hair.

In theDiablo 4subreddit, user FumaOyabun shared a screenshot of a character with supposedly completely white hair. However, the hair color could rather be called light gray at best. This prompted FumaOyabun to ask for the option of actual white hair, which in turn inspired other users to share their own experiences as well when it comes to white or any other hair color inDiablo 4. The consensus seemed to be that most colors seem off during character creation. Some said the skin colors look sickly, which could be explained bythe dark setting ofDiablo 4, but the hair colors are a different topic entirely. Some players reported the sunny blonde hair as looking greenish and others suggested the issue had something to do with a shader that makes every color appear slightly off.
The discussion spiraled away from colors as well, and towards hairstyle options. Players criticized the fact hairstyles are locked to classes, not to mention the fact that while there are options available,Blizzard is locking further variety behind a paywall. There were a few gamers who gave positive feedback as well, adding that the white hair looks correct when their character is in sunlight.
Blizzard will hopefully be able to apply fixesto these lighter problems before the full game comes out. Otherwise, it seems players will either need to make peace with the current hair shades or might have to wait for a wider variety to be offered with the battle pass.
Diablo 4releases June 6 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
