However, one player recently encountered a bizarre glitch that trapped them in the blacksmith’s room. Redditor andDiablo 4fan Bledolikiq shared a short video of their Druid at the blacksmith in Kyovashad. They brieflyinteract with theDiablo 4blacksmithas usual, but after the character pane is closed, the camera stays locked in place. Running to either of the exits of the building doesn’t seem to make the camera budge, trapping them inside the building.
According to the comments, several other players have had this problem recently, with one even sharing YouTube video proof of theglitch after the beginning ofDiablo 4Season 1. Others reported similar issues with quest givers as well. These players shared a few workarounds that should help players get past this problem if they get stuck in the blacksmith inDiablo 4:
Players were annoyed at the presence of this glitch. Given the game has been out for a bit now, they don’t understand howDiablo 4still has these bugs popping up. Others made light of the situation, joking that the player unwittingly agreed to become an apprentice blacksmith, and that they were stuck there forever. Either way, this particular bug is pretty harmless, and players can hopefully expect Blizzard to fix it sooner rather than later.
Diablo 4’s Season of the Malignant is live now. Players can encounter and defeat corrupted enemies to earn Malignant Heart drops, which can be used like gems in special Infested jewelry sockets. This new gimmick comes alongsideDiablo 4’s first Battle Passthat players can progress by playing on seasonal characters. Players aren’t happy with all the changes being made in the first season ofDiablo 4, but hopefully Blizzard can learn from its mistakes and continue improving the game as it moves past its post-launch hype period.
Diablo 4is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
