Friday is back once more which means that the exotic salesman Xur is back in world ofDestiny 2once again. Even following the news ofBungie splitting from Activisionlate last week, Year 2 exotics are still nowhere to be found inside of Xur’s loot pool. Still, this week has a number of strong exotics on offer this week, with at least two that Guardians will want to consider thanks to the randomized rolls.
Even though it’s the new year, Xur is still up to his usual tricks. Here’s where players can find the shifty merchant and what he’s selling inDestiny 2for the weekend of Jun 18, 2025:

Where is Xur?
This weekend, Xur is hiding in his usual cave on Io.
Fly into Giant’s Scar and immediately head in through the building into the area with the massive drill in the middle. Follow the left side road and go past one of the drill legs to find a cave a little further down against the wall.

Class Armor
Xur has brought a couple of big-name items this week, including two strong exotics from the base game and one from the Warmind expansion that will likely disappoint most players.
Verity’s Brow - Warlock helm
It’s been a while since players have seen this item on offer, though for most Warlock’s, Verity’s Brow will be a disappointment. Unfortunately, this exotic helm is awarded to all Warlock players uponcompletion of the Warmind campaign, so unless players are interested in the rolls, it’s an easy item to skip this week.
Its exotic perk is called The Fourth Magic, which causes energy weapon kills to boost grenade energy for the player and any nearby enemies.

Gear Rolls:
Orpheus Rig - Hunter boots
One of the stronger Hunter exotics is finally on sale once again. The Orpheus Rig boots are a highly sought after Nightstalker specific item and really enhance the Trapper or Pathfinder specializations. Its perk, Uncanny Arrows provides bonus super energy for each enemy tethered by Deadfall anchors. Not only that, those using Mobius Quiver have more shots than normal.
It’s a strong exotic and one that every Nightstalker should have in their inventory even afterthe slight nerf following the release of Forsaken. The Orpheus Rig boots are an easy recommendation this week for those that don’t have it.
Hallowfire Heart - Titan chest armor
Another strong class specific piece this week, the Hallowfire Heart is for Sunbreaker Titans who enjoy throwing those fire hammers. Sunfire Furnace, the item’s exotic perk, improves the recharge rate of all solar abilities. Not only that but it also greatly improves ability recharge rates while the player’s super meter is fully charged. This distinction is important for Titans who use a powerful ability such as melting point, which can give teams an edge in a mode like Gambit.
This is another very easy item to recommend for Titan players.
Fixed Gear Rolls:
Exotic Weapon
The Vigilance Wing is back on sale this week from Xur. At one time, this weapon was a very popular choice, though now a days it seems to have been replaced by other pulse rifle weapons like Bygones. Still, Vigilance Wing is a unique version of this weapon class as its intrinsic perk, Hard Truths, gives this weapon a five shot burst instead of the typical three. In addition, when a nearby ally is killed, the player using the weapon gains instant health regeneration and increased movement speed.
While there are better guns available out there,Vigilance Wing remains a solid choiceand is worth a pickup for those who may not have the weapon at this point.
