Last month, Bungie and Loot Crate announced aDestiny 2Loot Cratethat includes several collector’s items for fans, including a hoodie and an exclusive figure. However, it seems that the Loot Crate won’t just include real-life collectibles as it will also offer an exclusive bit of in-game loot forDestiny 2players.
In a press release today, Bungie and Loot Crate confirmed that those who purchase theDestiny 2-themed package will also gain access to an exclusive emblem. Called Recurrent Resplendence, the emblem features three light blue and white arches on a dark blue background.

Codes will be sent out “within two weeks of purchasing the crate” and they can be redeemed on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It should be noted that supplies are limited, so some people may miss out on the emblem if the loot crate proves to be incredibly popular.
This is not the only exclusive offered in theDestiny 2Loot Crate, as fans can also bag themselves an exclusive Cayde-6 pin. That pin featuresCayde-6carrying his poultry pal and is suitably adorable. Loot Crate CEO Chris Davies says that theDestiny 2package is designed as a “one-of-a-kind fan experience” and so these exclusives are in line with that.
Unsurprisingly, fans seem delighted with the announcement that theDestiny 2Loot Crate will include at least one in-game goodie. Although Recurring Resplendence doesn’t explicitly mention anything about Loot Crate or the real-life box of collectibles, those in the know will recognize a diehardDestiny 2fan by the emblem when they see it.
The exclusive emblem deal isn’t the firstDestiny 2DLC tie-in, nor is it likely to be the last. For example, Virgin Media customers could unlock aDestiny 2Sparrow design. Last month, Bungie offered exclusive emblems to players who purchased goods via the official Bungie Store during its big Black Friday merchandise sale. And while it wasn’t an in-game item deal exactly, those buying boxes of Pop Tarts could also bag themselves aDestiny 2XP bonus.
More of these deals will probably be announced as companies realize that appealing toDestiny 2fans can prove lucrative for them. So for those who’ve missed out on the Recurrent Resplendence emblem or aren’t so interested in, there’s a high chance that moreDestiny 2deals will be available to fans in future.
Destiny 2is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
