The newest chapter inDead by Daylighthas moved out of the player test build and is now available for all players to enjoy in the main one. This chapter has been namedA Binding of Kinand introduces a new survivor, as well as a brand new deadly killer.
Alongside the new survivor and killer are the three perks associated with them. While they are initially exclusive to these characters, they can be taught to other killers and survivors after players invest enoughblood pointsinto them in the blood webs, making them teachable.

to unlock these perks, players must either purchase the newest DLC chapter or buy the killer and survivor separately in the in-game store using iridescent shards. The perks may also one day appear inDead by Daylight’s Shrine of Secrets, where their teachable versions can be purchased outright by using iridescent shards.
Thea newDead by Daylightsurvivorof this chapter is Élodie Rakoto. She comes with three unique perks:
Appraisal lets the player start the trial with three tokens. If a player with Appraisal finds a chest that has already been opened, they can use one token to search the chest for another item. At level one, Appraisal will also allow players to search chests 40% faster. At level two it will be 60% faster and at level three it will be 80% faster.
Deception lets the player interact with a locker while sprinting in order to cause a loud noise notification for the killer without entering the locker. It will also cause the player to not leave any Scratch Marks afterward for three seconds. At level one this can be triggered every 60 seconds with it being 50 seconds at level 2 and 40 seconds at level 3.
Power Struggle allows the player to drop a pallet whilebeing carried by the killerin order to stun them and force them to let go of the player. This perk can only be used once per trial. In order to activate it, players will need to have 35% wiggle progression if Power Struggle is level one. This progression needs to be at 30% if the perk is level two and at 25% if at level three.
The newest killer is known as The Twins, with their real names beingVictor and Charlotte Deshayes. Their three unique perks are:
Hoarder causesthe killer playerto see a loud noise notification when survivors interact with chests or pick up an item while close to the killer’s location. This range is within 24 meters if Hoarder is at level one, 36 meters if it is at level two, and 48 meters if the perk is at level three. This perk will additionally cause two more chests to spawn in the trial while also decreasing the rarity of all possible items found in them.
Oppression causes three random generators to begin regressing after the killer player damages a generator. These three random generators do not include the generator the killer directly damages. This perk has a cool-down of 120 seconds at level one, 100 seconds at level two, and 80 seconds at level three. Additionally, oppression will cause anysurvivors working on the generatorsto face a difficult Skill Check.
Coup de Grace is a perk that causes the killer to gain one token for every generator that is completed by survivors.Killer playerscan then consume these tokens in order to increase to the distance of their next lunge attack. At level one of Coup de Grace, the lunge is increased by 60% with it being increased to 80% at level two and 100% at level three.
