TheCastlevaniafranchise has been around for decades and has been home to tons of iconic characters such as Alucard, Dracula himself, and a host of different protagonists - mostly from the Belmont family. Simon and Richter Belmont were easily the most memorable of the Belmonts back in the day. They had the most iconic games and laid claim to some of the best quotes in the entire franchise.
Trevor did have some iconic quotes in some of the games, but the lion’s share of what makes this character popular can be found in the Netflix adaptation. With theCastlevaniaTV series being a global hit, players and audiences alike became more accustomed to another member of the Belmont family; Trevor. Voiced by Richard Armitage, Trevor Belmont has slowly become a fan favorite and one of the most popular fantasy TV protagonists in recent times. This is largely due to Richard Armitage’s incredible voice acting, as well as the solid writing which has provided audiences with a host of iconic Trevor Belmont quotes.
While Trevor is not the main character inCastlevania: Curse of Darkness,he plays a vital role as a supportive hero. The game is largely focused on the two devil forgemasters, Hector and Isaac, but Trevor has an important part to play, and events in the game shape the fate of the Belmont bloodline.
When Trevor realizes that Isaac fought him to draw his blood and access a hidden chamber beneath the castle, he essentially forces Hector to do the same. What follows is one of the most exhilarating fights in the game.

Whilst this game is a reboot separated from the rest of the Castlevania series, it does feature Trevor and Gabriel Belmont prominently, and their descent into the titles of Alucard and Dracula, respectively, in their fight against the dark.
AlthoughCurse of Darkness 2isn’t thebest-received game in the franchise, this whole scene with Trevor/Alucard explaining his plan to his father is incredible. Not only does it depict how far the humanity of these two Belmonts has fallen, but it also illustrates how regardless of being a vampire, Trevor’s moral compass hasn’t swayed too much.
Near the end of a long conversation with Dracula, Trevor formulates a plan to lure out all their enemies and strike at once. He knows his father longs for eternal peace and seeks to kill two birds with one stone. This is one of the more memorable dialogues in a game not entirely known for them. While itdidn’t live up to its predecessor,Lords of Shadows 2killed it with this scene.

Castlevania: Season 1, Episode 3 “Labyrinth”
Trevor Belmont in the Netflix adaption is shown in a new light. A more cynical and disillusioned veteran for sure, he still has his moments of comedic genius, and more importantly, tons of scenes where his heroic attributes stand out.
This is a Belmont who doesn’t have the protection of any family, he has the burden of the entire Belmont Clan on his back, and he rises to the occasion. While largely shown to be a grumpy drunk in the earlier parts of the series, at this stage, Trevor makes it evident that he will continue to strive for peace no matter the consequences.
Curse of Darknesswas an important game in developing the lore surrounding Trevor. As the man who defeated Dracula, and the then-last Belmont, he had the weight of the world on his shoulders. Consequently, Trevor in this game is ruthless to his enemies, yet respectful.
Assuming Hector is Isaac, Trevor doesn’t hesitate to attack him, but upon realizing Hector is the forge master who deserted Dracula, he allies himself with him. Trevor shows up on numerous occasions to ‘help’ Hector throughout the game, and his appearance has gone on to be a fan-favorite part of this already solid game.

Castlevania: Season 1, Episode 4 “Monument”
This quote encapsulates Trevor as a character, snarky and clever, but honorable and duty-bound. Trevor finally confronts Alucard and after an intense battle, he emerges victorious…somewhat. While this entire show isfull of great quotes,this one stands out.
Trevor mentions how his own life is a luxury. He doesn’t mind dying as long as he rids the world of what seems to be a powerful and evil vampire. To reiterate, the first few episodes of the show focused on Trevor as a comedic, cynical character but he slowly starts to come into his own and this quote is a perfect example of that.

Castlevania: Season 4, Episode 9 “The Endings”
While there’salready a sequelto the original Netflix Castlevania series, we doubt anything will top this moment. This might go down as one of the most iconic quotes in the entireCastlevaniafranchise. It even givesDracula’s famous dialogueregarding what a man is a run for his money. Near the end of the TV series, Trevor is face to face with Death itself, but he’s not scared.
Trevor calls Death a thing and, with a determined stride, walks up to him with a mature monologue showing how far he’s come and how far he’ll go to protect the people he cares about. This quote acts as the perfect conclusion to Trevor’s character arc, and makes for a fitting end to the series.
