How to View and Equip Acquisitions and Schematics

Players can view their full list of available schematics and acquisitions by going to thegear tab in the pre-game lobbyand navigating toan empty slot in the backpack of an operatoron the player’s strike team.Select the empty slot to open the acquisitions and schematics menu.

Acquisitions

Acquisitions areextra items collected in-gamethat are not used butare stowed for extraction. These items can includeammo mods, Aether tools, and perk-a-cola cansgathered from previous deployments that can be added to an operator’s backpack before starting a game and used immediately after dropping into the MWZ mission area. Players can stock up on thesesingle-use itemsand store them for future games - finding alarge backpack in Urzikstan will allow players to extract more acquisitionsfrom each deployment.

Players can alsoreceive bonus acquisitions from completing missionsin Operation Deadboltto keep their inventory stock full, as acquisitionsare consumed after use or are lost if in a players' rucksack when they dieand cannot exfil from a deployment.

Schematics

Schematics arerarer than acquisitions, providingpermanently unlocked recipesthat players can use to craft items repeatedly. Schematics can be used tocreate acquisitions like perk soda cans and Aether tools,as well as Wonder Weapons likethe Raygun.

Players can acquire schematicsas a rewardfromcertain missions in Operation Deadbolt,but will have a much higher chance at finding schematicsin-game by killing mini-bosses like maulers and mimics and completing contracts.If players can complete several contracts per deployment, they can rapidly acquire a selection of schematics to begin expanding their arsenal.
