With over 50 sidequests inBreath of the Wild, it’s very easy to miss a good chunk of them on a first playthrough. Certain quests are even locked, requiring Link to reach several milestones before they can be accessed. One example is “Tools of the Trade,” and it’s a necessary step in getting the Thunder Helm from Riju in Gerudo Town.
By completing “Tools of the Trade” inBreath of the Wild, players will gain access to an accessories store. Some accessories will add a level of weather/elemental resistance, making it rather useful in the beginning-to-mid stage ofBotW. Fortunately, the quest itself is rather simple.

How to Unlock Tools of the Trade
BotWplayers will need to get into Gerudo Town if they want to start “Tools of the Trade.” However, if they don’t have theGerudo Outfit, then they won’t be allowed into town. Getting this Set is required for the main story, so here’s how to get it:
If players are low on change, sell some materials such as gems.

Once Link can enter Gerudo Town, there’ll be a Gerudo named Isha pacing in front of a jewelry storeto the right. Players will know this is the right person to speak to thanks to the red exclamation point on the speech bubble (“I have to do something…"). She’ll want exactly10 pieces of flint. Select “Accessories?” when prompted, and that will formally start the “Tools of the Trade” sidequest.
Where to Find Flint
If players have been farming materials, then they may already have 10 pieces of flint on hand. If not, it’s time to start looking. Fortunately, flint is a very common material from flint/ore deposits, so it shouldn’t take long.
Ore deposits can’t be found in the middle of the desert, so fast travel toregions with mountains or tall cliffs. There are several ore depositson the inside cliffs by the riverleading up to theDueling Peaks Stable. Use a sledgehammer (or the Master Sword) to break them open. Since deposits usually only drop one or two chunks of flint (or none), another place to look is theSouthern Minesouth ofGoron City.

Another way of farming flint is to defeat certain enemies such asStone Taluses. These guys will have ore deposits on their back and usually drop at least one or two hunks of flint upon defeat. Bear in mind that Stone Taluses can be tough to battle - especially early on inBotW. Battling a tough enemy just for one/two pieces of flint may not be worth the hassle. However, players can also farm flint fromPebblits, smaller versions of Stone Taluses and less threatening.
When mining flint, avoid using bombs to break the deposits. This can send the materials flying. Also, be careful not to accidentally break the flint. Striking it with a weapon will cause it to spark and disappear.

Tools of the Trade Reward
Give 10 flint to Isha, and she’ll open up her store. She’ll then allow Link to choose one of the following accessories for free:
Don’t worry about missing out on the other two accessories, since they can be bought as long as Link has the rupees (and materials) to show. The Sapphire Circlet will give Link heat-resistance,the Ruby Circlet gives cold-resistance, and the Topaz Earrings give electric-resistance.
While the option is entirely up to the player, both the Topaz Earrings and Ruby Circlet cost500 rupeeswhile the Sapphire Circlet costs800 rupees. It may not be a bad idea to select theSapphire Circletsince it’s the most expensive. Alternatively, just buy the one with the resistance Link needs or whichever accessory looks better.
From then on, Link can buy the following accessories from this jewelry store:
BotWplayers don’t need to complete this sidequest upon first arriving to Gerudo Town. However, they’ll have to complete iteventuallyif they want the Thunder Helm from Riju. “Tools of the Trade” is just one of the four sidequests in Gerudo Town needed for the helmet. The Thunder Helm itself is locked behind the Divine Beast Vah Naboris main quest.
