Borderlands 3is the newest entry to the legendary Borderlandsseries, defining the looter-shooter genre in yet another iteration. Being a looter-shooter,Borderlands 3is all about the guns. While some ofBorderlands 3’s strongest weapons are available early on, there are many more weapons that can be gained throughout the game.
Borderlands 3gives players a chance to pick up the “Conference Call” Legendary shotgun. This gun was one of the most preferred weapons available inBorderlands 2, and its reputation is maintained in the follow-up. There are a few ways to pick up this weapon, but one boss in particular can be easily farmed for it.

The Gun
The Conference Call is, simply put, one of the best weapons inBorderlands 3. It is a Hyperion shotgun, which means that it projects a forward-facing shield when the player aims down sights. This feature alone makes Hyperion one of thebest gun manufacturers inBorderlands 3. With this weapon, any damage that the shield takes helps re-fill the gun’s ammunition.
In general, the gun hits hard, has a high shield capacity, and is a great all-rounder. Because the guns inBorderlands 3are randomly generated, things like ammo capacity, zoom magnification, and other features may vary, but the Conference Call remains a strong choice regardless. As a close-range gun, the Conference Call can round out a variety ofstrong builds inBorderlands 3, depending on the player’s playstyle.
Farming the Conference Call
Katagawa Jr.is the boss to farm for this weapon. This boss is located on Promethia near the Atlas HQ fast travel station. Running along the arcing boulevard to the right of the fast travel station will lead players to the giant skyscraper where Katagawa Jr. resides. Taking the elevator up leads to the boss room. Right before the boss room is a checkpoint, which makes it extremely easy to repeat this bossfight over and over. Players can quickly fight the boss and check the rewards. Then, if the Conference Call doesn’t drop, players can simply quit to the menu and re-load to get another chance.
The conference call can be dropped elsewhere inBorderlands 3, but it may take a while to farm the gun using this method. However, farming Katagawa Jr. is a relatively quick and reliable method for getting the Conference Call when compared to the other places it might drop.
