Palworldis equal parts survival game as it is aPokemonclone. For an action RPG, it has an interesting level-up system. When players gain enough EXP, they gain Technology Points as well as Stat Points. First, Stat Points can be used to raise typical RPG stats like attack power or they can increase how much they carry.
Increasing weight limits is extremely important because players are going to be mining for many materials. Now, the other part of leveling up concerns the aforementioned Technology Points, which can be used to buy recipes for items. Many of these options will help travelers in their early expeditions inPalworld.
7Old Bow

Even though this game has a reputation for beingPokemonwith guns,Palworld’s guns takea long time to unlock. Fortunately, players can unlock and build other projectile weapons while they build up to the good stuff. The Old Bow is the first one that players can unlock in the tech tree.
Players also need to unlock Arrows otherwise the Old Bow is useless. It’s a single-shot bow that has a decent range and attack power. The next upgrade, the Three Shot Bow, is even better but it will take a bit of grinding.
6Repair Kit

Not everything is going to last forever. InPalworld, items break down very easily with consistent use. That’s why players have to come prepared with Repair Kits which can be unlocked in the tech tree. From the Old Bow to tools like the various axes, these items need their health restored like the player character needs their HP fixed after battle.
It’s kind of funny how the icon fit Repair Kits are a screwdriver when screws have virtually nothing to do with construction. Thinking about how crafting works ina survival gameis a moot point though as things generally don’t make sense.
5Cloth Outfit

Players can customize their looks inPalworld, but not their costumes. That comes later with the crafting segments unlocked through the tech tree. There are a few steps to unlocking clothing such as the Cloth Outfit, which is the first one available and has no special attributes associated with it.
To make a Cloth Outfit inPalworld, players first need to find Woolby defeating Pals like Lamball, unlock Cloth for crafting, make that item, and then create the outfit. Other pieces of clothing protect the wearer from weather damage like extreme cold or heat, much like the systems set up inThe Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It’s a good idea to carry multiple outfits because players never know what kind of environments they will find while exploring.
4Normal Parachute

Palworldhas other similarities toThe Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wildbesides the temperature gauges.Palworldplayers can also unlock a device like the Paraglider called the Normal Parachute. It’s an easy enough item to craft as it just requires Cloth and Wood and its usefulness knows no bounds.
That feeling of jumping off a cliff and soaring far below is something that never gets old. Once players unlock Pal-exclusive items like the saddle for Nitewing,which will give them theability to fly inPalworld, the Normal Parachute may seem less special. However, it’s always good as a backup in case players fall from somewhere and can’t get their Nitewing ready in time.
3Common Shield

As this isan action RPGat its core, players may be expecting to see a shield amongst the early gear prospects. While there are shields, they aren’t traditional ones that someone like a knight would use during The Crusades. The shields in this game are more like generators that envelop the body with an extra layer of protection.
The first one that players can get is called the Common Shield. When players take damage, this piece of gear will decrease the amount taken and, in turn, sustain damage itself. Keep those Repair Kits around to keep the Common Shield up to snuff.
2Nail

Nails can be made inPalworldby melting down Ingotsonce they get refined from Ore. Ingots are some of the most valuable resources in the game, as they make a lot of things on their own besides other materials like Nails.
As for Nails, they can be used in constructing things like the Crossbow which is a later get but still worth mentioning in the road to Gun Town, USA. It’s also good for production structures like the Weapon Workbench and the High Quality Workbench.
1Meat Cleaver

TheMeat Cleaveris a good early weapon and tool but there is also a dark side to it. First, it can be used as a melee weapon in battle. It looks exactly like a meat cleaver or butcher’s knife in real life, and it has a short range. Its main usage is for in-camp menus, though.
Players can decide to butcher their Pals for whatever reason to gain resources or meat, and then they can serve them up to the rest of the crew. It’s almost as dark as this game gets, but there is something darker being less covered now. It is possible to catch humans in Pal Spheres and that’s pretty twisted.
