Summary

After spending a little bit of time exploring their surroundings and getting to grips with the controls and mechanics ofAvatar: Frontiers of Pandora, players will be granted access to the multiple skill trees to help aid in their adventure. Rather than there being just one basic tree to go through though, there are actually five of them to choose from, each placing a specific focus on one key aspect of the gameplay, such as hunting, combat, and durability.

Admittedly, this can all be a little overwhelming at first, and since Skill Points inAvatar: Frontiers of Pandoracan be pretty hard to come by in the early game, it means that players will need to take an extra bit of care when choosing how to invest their hard-earned points. With that being said, there are a few skills that have already proven to be some of the most effective, especially in those first few hours, and that’s exactly what this list is going to be focusing on today.

Master skill tree in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

6Well Prepared (Memories Of The Warrior)

2 Skill Points

Being able to keepa fourth weapon stashed awaymight not seem very important at first, but it becomes extremely useful when hunting is involved, since it allows players to have every bow option they need to take down a specific target. Additionally, having a fourth slot also allows for a nice balance between bows and guns, so that players can manage both animals and RDA soldiers equally.

The Warrior skill tree is all about boosting the player’s power overall for the early game, and while it might not technically deal any physical damage, the Well Prepared skill is still extremely useful considering the sheer amount of devastating weapons that can appear throughout the game.

Rider skill tree in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

5Aerial Fishing 1 (Memories Of The Rider)

1 Skill Point

Admittedly, the player is already pretty strongwhen riding atop the Ikranwith the basic mount being very durable and fast, so the Rider skill tree doesn’t come off quite as important as a lot of the others, especially for the early game. With that being said, being able to fish in the air is an incredible skill that allows players to essentially remain airborne for as long as they want without needing to stop every now and again to pick up some food for the journey ahead.

This becomes especially useful when paired up with other food skills, such as Raw Food Diet, where the player can remain energized to perform aerial tricks, and to snipe at enemies from afar while mounted on their trusty Ikran.

Hunter skill tree in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

4Light Footed Hunter I (Memories Of The Hunter)

Lightfooted Hunter is a skill that’s so essential that it feels like it should automatically be a part of the game’s default mechanics, considering how encouraged it isto use stealth to creepup on RDA soldiers and animals. Being completely silent while crouched makes hunting smaller and more skittish animals far easier, but it can also help for sneaking around the bigger creatures to find their weak spot.

It’s also heavily advised that players take a stealthy approach when dealing with outposts, since being able to destroy the mechs from behind with a single arrow can make the battles so much more straightforward. It can then be upgraded to the second level where the Na’vi will make no noise while running, which is also incredibly strong.

Survivor skill tree in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

3Vigor 1 (Memories Of The Survivor)

Energy is incredibly important inFrontiers of Pandoraas it dictates how often players can jump, climb, and just navigate the world in general. There are still a few ways to restore energy, such assnacking on some fruitand stopping at campfires, but it definitely still feels like a hindrance which can slow the pace of the game down a lot in the early few hours.

Additionally, fast traveling in this game will also cost a good portion of energy, so it’s incredibly easy for it to be completely drained just by performing regular actions inthe open world. Being able to have a staggering 50% extra energy is very noticeable and makes the movement system feel a lot more fluid and fun when exploring the wonderful world of Pandora.

Survivor skill tree

2Raw Food Diet (Memories Of The Survivor)

It’s extremely easy to find a bunch of raw food by using the Hunter’s Guide, but they aren’t exactly intended to be consumed this way. Instead, players would normally need to gather together a few raw ingredients tocreate a delicious mealat a campfire which would provide much more energy, along with a few unique benefits to boot.

The truth is though, it’s not always easy getting to a campsite, especially when venturing out into the wastelands and outskirts of the map during an intense and dangerous hunt. Being able to simply grab a few raw pieces of food lying around to keep the energy bar in check therefore saves a tremendous amount of time in the long run.

Maker skill tree in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

1Sturdy Arrows (Memories Of Maker)

Players learn very early on in the game that wasting arrows is an extremely bad idea since they can take quite a few resources to craft, and having a low stock can make a hunt much riskier than it needs to be. Being able to retrieve arrows completely negates this issue, and it allows players to spend their resources on other items that can make combat encounters a lot easier withoutthe need for merchants.

This skill also reinforces the arrows themselves, allowing them to damage much bulkier animals like the Hammerheads which can be a massive help when their weakspot is hidden away and is a little too awkward to hit with supreme accuracy. Considering just how often players are going to be using the many bows featured in the game, this skill is a must-have from the Memories of Maker tree.
