Electronic Arts and BioWare were likely hoping that Anthem 2.0 could rise to the top of the heap as well. Instead, the game has been officially killed off. Now those fans who were hoping to fly around in giant mechs in an improved and revamped game are looking for another outlet.

Fixes On The Go For The Division 2
While theAnthem 2.0community was hoping to getupdateson that game,The Division 2developers continued supporting their game well after launch. Ubisoft Massive also seems to have learned from some early decisions that some called missteps. One of the bigger complaints of the game’s predecessor,The Division, was that the story left quite a bit to be desired. When it came to the sequel, Ubisoft Massive managed to add just enough story to hook players. It still managed to stick to a formula that works. One where the action takes center stage at all times.
The Division 2developersare also stomping out bugs and glitches on a regular basis. The community is staying active in the game and the developers are keeping the game active. Ubisoft has also managed to continue offering up what the community favors most. More missions, more reasons to carry out those missions, and more weapons pop up all the time. For a game like this, there’s just enough story to keep people coming back, but no one is spending a great deal of time in cut-scenes. There are conversations here and there, but it takes no time at all to get back on the road and in the streets, patrolling for more skirmishes.
Keeping It Current
While the game manages to offer up what its community wants, its also not completely ignoring the story.Warlords of New Yorkoffered a new place to roam and new villains to fight. Not that long ago, Ubisoft Massive promised it will continue adding features and stories toThe Division 2through at least next year. Just what that content is going to be, is of course not known yet. However, the developers have had a bit of a magic touch lately. Even when it comes to smaller updates like the recentResident Eviltie-in, Ubisoft is getting things right.
Destiny 2is looked at by many as the king of the live service games because of its many, massive updates. However,The Division 2is proving that a game like this doesn’t need to have a ton of massive expansion drops. Smaller tweaks and additions work just fine when it comes to keeping a game fresh. That’s why the military shooter is not only very good now, but gets better as time goes by.
