According to their estimate, that error cost them approximately 1.5 million Bells that they could have gotten from Daisy Mae. Faced with a huge haul of turnips that was about to rot, the player turned to crafting Senmaizuke Barrels, a rare type of furniture that was added to the game as part of theAnimal Crossing: New Horizons2.0 update, which was released free of charge in November 2021.
A regular Senmaizuke Barrel requires 30 turnips to craft, which is quite a lot for a single furniture item. In a likely effort to save space, Leeuweroni opted to make the stacked variant of the item, which can be made by joining two Senmaizuke Barrels at a DIY Workbench. This crafting endeavor allowed Leeuweroni to recoup some of their hefty investment, though presumably not a lot of it. Namely, Stacked Senmaizuke Barrels sell for 1,200 Bells a pop, or 20 Bells per turnip. That’s at the absolute bottom of the spectrum of Daisy Mae’s semi-randomized turnip prices, and likely well below what the player paid for the plants.
