Now, many people continue pushing for him to finally get his much-deserved third solo outing. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter on the red carpet before the Oscars 2022, Garfield was asked if there are any recentupdates regardingThe Amazing Spider-Man 3. Garfield admitted that there is nothing to share, also adding that “No one’s going to believe anything I say ever again, that’s my problem.” His response comes after the actor revealed that he was forced to lie many times about his surprise role inNo Way Homeright up to the film’s release back in December, admitting that the process was strangely enjoyable.
The Amazing Spider-Man 3is very possible, considering the growing number of characters crossing over between the MCU and the Sony Spider-Man Universe. So, it’s entirely possible that fans can see Garfield donning the suit again on the big screen at some point in another crossover event similar toSpider-Man: No Way Home. Chances are Garfield would be willing to return, especially since he already shared that he would like to work with his co-starsTobey Maguire and Tom Hollandon moreSpider-Manfilms.
