There are a number ofpowerful weapons inAlan Wake 2that players can acquire throughout Alan and Saga’s journeys around Bright Falls and the Dark Place to assist them in their efforts. Players looking to acquire the highly effectivecrossbow, which can silently take down enemies and has recoverable ammo (andawards the Greatest Hits Trophy/Achievement), can find where and how below.

How (And Where) To Get the Crossbow Stash Code in Alan Wake 2
As players take control of Saga Anderson in the chapter Return 3: Local Girl, they will first converse with some local folk in the area of Watery before being pointed down a winding forest trail.Following this path northen route to theCoffee World Shop inAlan Wake 2, players will likely come acrossa safe room in a cabin, located here:
Outside the safe room is also acult chest, which contains the crossbow, although it is locked at first and needs a three-digit code. Players will have to look around the surrounding area for clues to open it and obtain the crossbow itself.
Immediately to the right of this chest, there is a shooting rangewhere cultists have apparently been practicing. If players check this range closely, they will see that there are numbered targets and various numbers of bolts fired into some of them.
The bolts have been looted in this screenshot, but the code is confirmed to be as below.
Players can match the number of bolts buried in three of the target numbers to deduce the chest code:5-2-7.

2 bolts in target #2
3 bolts in targe #7
5-2-7 is the crossbow chest code
Players can now enter this code to unlock the container and grab the crossbow, along with an ominous note from the cult. Doing so will also unlock the Greatest Hits trophy/achievement to boot.
The crossbow takes up 3 inventory slots. Bolt ammo takes up 1 slot, with a maximum of 4 per slot.
Now armed with this deadly tool, players can feel a little more confident and prepared for what Saga might encounter next in the Watery area ofAlan Wake 2.
