The Walking Dead: Destiniesis an upcoming zombie action-adventure game that will require the player to makegut-wrenchingchoices and potentially rewrite the story of the biggest moments in Seasons 1-4 of the television series. There will be a number of characters fans will need to see in this new game for it to tie up well with the first 4 seasons of the television show. There might not be room for every character to feature, but there are some characters that simply need to appear. Somestorylines fans would like to seecould be elevated to a more satisfying level, but only if the correct characters are present in the game.
10Maggie Greene
Maggie Greene was a character that showed growth throughout the TV series, and fans will want to see her thrive again inThe Walking Dead: Destiniesand possibly see if they could make some minor tweaks to the outcome of some of her early storylines.
Her major storylines tend to appear later in the show’s run, so an option could be to put her at the front of the action early on in the game to see what happens.

9Carl Grimes
Carl was an up-and-comer in the TV show, following in his father Rick Grimes' footsteps. He is an expert marksman and shows great character when faced with adversity.
He’ll be a popular character to feature in the game, and fans might opt to grant him a chance to shine by giving him someimpossible choicesto make about the direction the survivors should take.

8Michonne Hawthorne
Michonne made her first appearance towards the latter part of the show’s first 4 seasons, but she made an incredible impact, making her a vital character to assume the playable role of in the game.

There were things in her past that remain a mystery, but there’s a chance these things could potentially push the survivors in a brand-new direction inDestinies.
7Hershel Greene
Every story needs a wise old man to impart their knowledge to the rest of the characters. Hershel does this in the TV series and is bound to be responsible for some major choices in the new game.
He first appeared in season 2 of the show and became a key figure in the story. Rumor has it he may not be a playable character in the game, but players should still expect him to feature heavily in the group’s decisions.

6Glenn Rhee
Glenn was a fan favorite in the TV show. It’s unfortunate that the game only covers the first 4 seasons, as the majority of fans would be sure to change his death later on in the series. There arecharacters the show didn’t kill off soon enough, but Glenn is not one of them.
However, certain changes could be made to his relationship with Maggie to give them the happy ending they deserve. Either way, fans want to see Glenn kicking some more zombie ass inDestinies.

5Merle Dixon
Michael Rooker famously took on the role of Daryl’s psychotic brother, Merle, inThe Walking Dead. He made such an impact on the show that it’s hard to believe he only appeared in 17 episodes.

Surely fans will make the choice to keep Merle around for longer in the game, even if he does cause friction within the group despite his wildly entertaining behavior.
4Lori Grimes
Lori was an original character inThe Walking Dead, and the love triangle between her, Shane, and Rick was one of the highlights of the early seasons.
Maybe in this iteration of the story, players will opt for Lori to end up with Shane, leaving Rick to go in another direction. Either way, it’ll be a treat for fans to reacquaint themselves with a classic character from the series.

3Daryl Dixon
Daryl Dixon very much existed in the shadows of Rick Grimes in the early seasons of the show but became more prominent as the years went by.

There is no better zombie killing machine inThe Walking Deadthan Daryl, so the player is sure to want to up his kill count even more in the game. It’ll be interesting to see if things could turn out differently for him if his crazy brother Merle survived theterrifying locationof the rooftop.
2Rick Grimes
It has been confirmed that the player will assume the main playable role of Rick Grimes inThe Walking Dead: Destinies, which was a no-brainer as he is the protagonist of the show, especially in the first 4 seasons.
Fans will want the opportunity to play out the scenario where Rick had to kill Shane, but it’ll be interesting to see if any changes are made to how it went down.

1Shane Walsh
Shane was one of themost memorable charactersin the show and many fans feel that he left too soon. Fans will want to see him in action in the new game and maybe make the choice for him to follow a different path and survive, at least until season 4 this time.
Instead of Rick being in charge, this iteration of Shane could assume control of the group to see what direction it would go in under his leadership.

The Walking Dead: Destiniesis set to release on November 14th for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
